Act and Sing in Winter is contest of artistic miniatures held in English. Since 2013, the organizers of the contest were : Warsaw Bilingual School Dwujęzyczna Szkoła Podstawowa and Dwujęzyczne Przedszkole TĘCZOWY OGRÓD, along with Ośrodek Kultury Ochoty OKO.

The contest’s main goal was propagating English education through art as well as promoting children with special language skills. We invited preschoolers and primary schools students from Warsaw to take part in the contest.

The competition was divided into three age groups:

• preschool and class 0

• grades 1 -3

• grades 4 -6

 

In each age group, students had a choice of two artistic categories: song or scene.

 

The contest was supervised by:

• Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship

• President of Warsaw

• Education Superintendent of the Mazovian Province.
